News roundup: More Busho Matsuri details and a note from KobaP

KobaP has posted an update on his blog now that the Sengoku Basara 4 article has spread like wildfire.

"Finally, real information about Sengoku Basara 4 has started! There will be a lot of information each month. We're also just about ready for Busho Matsuri! Please come along to Ariake Colosseum on the 13th (Saturday) and 14th (Sunday); the opening performance will be amazing!

People have been making the mistake that Sengoku Basara 4 will be set in the Muromachi era. The end of the Muromachi era is generally thought to be the start of the Sengoku story. Since this is the 'Sengoku Creation', Basara 4 is creating a new Sengoku! Please spread the word!"

The main news today is that Busho Matsuri website had a big update this morning. The event is just a week away, and they've decided to add a limited number of tickets for sale on the day at the venue. This is the only chance to see the Sunday show since the tickets sold out so there will probably be a large queue. Another cinema in Fukuoka has been added to the list of locations offering a live viewing of the video stream for those who can't make it to the event itself.

They've also added details of the second wave of merchandise (the first wave is listed here). First and foremost, there's a set of stick posters (¥800) including all four of the currently-revealed playable Sengoku Basara 4 characters: Masamune, Mitsunari, Katsuie and Sakon. I expect this set to sell out ridiculously quickly.

The aforementioned official photo collection book (¥4,000) will be A5 and have 160 pages. Joining it is the event's 16-page commemorative pamphlet (¥1,000), a set of five large photographs (¥1,000) and A4 mutsugiri photographs (¥1,000) for Masamune/Yukimura, Masamune/Kojuurou, Yukimura/Sasuke, Ieyasu/Mitsunari, Motonari/Tenkai and Keiji/Hanbee/Hideyoshi. There will also be four types of uchiwa fan (¥800): Date forces (Masamune/Kojuurou), Sanada forces (Yukimura/Sasuke), Toyotomi forces (Hideyoshi/Hanbee/Ieyasu/Mitsunari) and Oda forces (Nobunaga/Mitsuhide).

Last but not least are some A4 clear files (¥1,300), decorated with Masamune/Yukimura, Ieyasu/Mitsunari and Kojuurou/Sasuke designs.

I'm really sorry that I had to switch on authentication for comments. The blog had started to receive dozens of spam comments each week. I hope that this new setting will help!
